This particular project had tough drilling conditions while reaching over an existing wall to install the soldier beams for shoring. This temporary shoring wall project was considered a remodel since 50% of the walls were remaining intact. The existing stud walls had to remain in place throughout the course of construction. Our design and construction team worked collectively constructing this temporary shoring wall to support the adjacent properties during the excavation and construction of a large basement addition. The residential shoring system consisted of cantilevered soldier piles with timber lagging installed in dense soil with large cobbles.
